This nearly pristine gun was purchased by the consignor from Dixie Gun Works in 1986. He has included the history of the gun as well as a detailed checklist of markings. External markings include the bold "CRS" cartouche for Curtis Stickley stamped on left side of grip. The left side of frame has the Remington legend with "P" and "S". Standard features on this gun include the rust blue finished barrel, walnut forearm and one piece grip, case color frame and trigger guard, polished metal hammer and block, and fire blued screws and trigger. CONDITION: One of the best. 95% case colors, 95% blue on barrel with a bit of blending and light muzzle wear, excellent wood with raised grain and some light impressions, some brilliant blue on screws, mirror bore and crisp action.
