Made in Boston from 1866-1878 with less than 3000 made in either grip configuration. This is the square butt version , over under 32 rimfire-.22 rimfire, spur trigger, rosewood grips, brass frame. Both barrels have German nickel front sights. Barrels are rotated into position. One barrel legend reads AMERICAN ARMS CO. BOSTON MASS. The other reads WHEELERS PAT. OCT 31 1865-JUNE 19, 1866. CONDITION. Very good. No original finish on iron. Brass has toned. Grips are fine. Barrel address is mostly legible. Hammer engages. Bores are defined but pitted.
