Classic Queen Anne form with cannon muzzle, turn-off assist ground down, two Birmingham crossed scepter proofs under the chamber. Signed "Archer" and "London" in ribbons on either side of the boxlock.Silver wire inlaid bag grip with a vacant escutcheon at wrist. Grotesque buttcap with silver proofs comprising "H", "CF" in lozenge for Charles Freeth, an anchor, and another soft proof, perhaps a horse? CONDITION: Good.
