Classic over/under tap action pistol with throw on left side to pick between firing only the top barrel or both barrels. Signed "Ketland & Co" on left side of boxlock in a ribbon. Chambers numbered "1" and "2", with "1" on bottom; bottom barrel with matching "1", top barrel with no observed "2", but may have been polished out or replaced. Indistinct proofs on underside of bottom chamber. Silver grotesque mask with proofs including "CF" in a lozenge for Charles Freeth, an anchor, a lion, and "F" in a shield. CONDITION: Good, polished in the European fashion over even consistent oxidation.
