Manufactured 1917. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown, blue finish, walnut stocks, rifle buttplate, dovetailed front sight, and Winchester sporting rear sight. Left side of frame has two extra holes for side-mounted receiver sight. Barrel has two line address on left side of octagon. Tang has Model 1892 stamp. CONDITION. Excellent. Retains 98% blue on barrel and tube with sharp edges and crisp legends. Retains 98% blue on nose cap. Majority of screws are true. Take down ring shows 70% blue with usual flaking. Frame retains 85% bright blue with some flaking at base, at chamber and some scattered handling marks. Stocks are excellent with usual impressions and some added finish. Bore is bright.
