Manufactured in 1937. This early rifle features the single barrel band, walnut stock with adjustable scope rail on base, checkered steel butt plate, blue finish, rear receiver sight base, front sight base but no sight (the Marbles peep sight and globe front sight are included as are two magazines) This rifle wears an Unertl 10 power scope with clear standard cross hair reticle and Unertl alloy adjustable mounts. Someone altered the pistol grip and added a metal grip attachment along with a trigger shoe. They also scored some serrations at base of forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. Solid 98% with light handling, a few age freckles with note to the alterations. Bore is sharp with crisp action.
