Manufactured in 1887. Blued No. 1 sporting weight octagon barrel with Rocky Mountain front sight and semi-buckhorn rear. Blued high wall action. Splinter style walnut forend with ebony inlaid Schnabel tip. Straight grip stock with crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Fine. Blued finish has faded to a freckled dark gray throughout. Stocks retain their original surfaces with some expected wear and impressions throughout. Bore is bright and well defined but shows some black powder abrasions. Fine mechanics.
