Shipped as a single gun shipment on April 14th, 1931, to Shenk & Tittle of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Blade front and a square notch rear sight. Two piece checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions. Two line barrel address and patent dates, "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. / PAT'D AUG. 5,1884. JULY 4, 1905. OCT.5,1926". Model and caliber designation on the left side of the barrel, "COLT OFFICIAL POLICE .22 LONG RIFLE". There is a Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. Factory special order 3 - 1/2 pound trigger pull. CONDITION: This gun retains most of the original factory applied blue finish. There is some high edge wear and holster wear. The grip straps are thinning. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Action locks up tightly and indexes fine. The grips are modern replacements. They are like new.
