The scalloped boxlock actions are scroll-engraved on sides and bottoms and feature hidden flip-down triggers. French-style ebony grips are carved behind actions and fluted, steel pommel caps. Complete with their original wooden case with brass inlaid borders and an escutcheon on lid inscribed "FS". The French fitted interior is lined in purple velour and has 2 lidded compartments with brass knobs. Inside of lid marked "FRANCIS MARQUIS / 2 BOULEVARD DE ITALIENS / A PARIS" in gilt lettering. Complete with original small flask and combination bullet mold/nipple remover and barrel wrench tool. CONDITION: Pistols are bright and both have crisp actions that function well. 1 grip shows a hairline crack on the right side. Case exterior has been refinished. Interior mostly faded to brown; protected areas retain original purple color. Accessories very good. An attractive set.
