Monobloc barrels fit with vent rib with steel bead front sight, and machine cut anti-glare matting. Typical Beretta legends and designation for a 28" 20 gauge with 3" chambers; Italian nitro proofs for a 3" chambered 20 gauge with a nominal 15.9 IBD built in 1994. Thread for chokes, currently fit with Modified and Skeet. Round nose forearm with finger recesses, point and wave pattern checkering, and a Deely style latch release, lightly engraved with florals. Boxlock action with classic Beretta floral and scroll engraving, marked with "PATENTED" at trigger plate. Automatic safety with an encircled "S" ahead of slide, and horizontally adjustable for barrel selection. Single inertia driven selective trigger. Tightly straight grained and fiddlebacked walnut stock with pistol grip, checkered in two panels at the grip, with soft Beretta recoil pad. Cast is very slightly off for a right handed shooter. Housed in a two tier case for gun when broken apart, with slots for up to three barrel sets and containing pair chokes, Full and Modified. Case code currently set to 000. CONDITION: Very good, showing evidence of light field use. Barrels retain virtually all of their blued finish with some handling marks and superficial scratches and marks, some minor very minor silvering on left side. Stocks very good with some minor handling marks and a few lifted slivers at sharp edges, such as pistol grip, and a couple minor abrasions to checkering, and scattered impressions, particularly to right side of stock and front of pistol grip commensurate with wearing a ring while shooting; a small strip of what appears to be silver paint on left side of toe. Mechanically fine, ejectors in time but a little soft, bores very good with some minor fouling. Case fine. A well proportioned 20 gauge.
