Circa 2004 per MW code. Barrels with a low profile vent rib with steel bead front sight and machine cut anti-glare matting, with a Roman "I" inlaid in relief gold at rear. Left side of top barrel with script Belgiuan Browning info, right with designation for a 20 gauge B-25 with 3" chambers. Marked with Browning star code for Full in top barrel and Modified in Bottom; barrels are currently fit with Briley tubes, 3/4 (approximately Improved Modified) in top and 1/2 (approximately Modified) in bottom. Sliding Browning forearm with slightly schnabeled tip checkered in point pattern with decorative beaded borders. Exterior iron with English small scroll with gold line borders, and bottom barrel is import marked for BSA ahead of the lumps. Boxlock action is engraved by Angelo Bee, depicting a pair of pheasants in a mountainous vignette on the left, a covey of grouse in a marshy vignette on the right, and an airborne snipe over a pond on the bottom; Bee's characteristic bee is on the lower left of the vignette with the snipe. Beyond the vignettes, the engraving is supported by more acanthus scrollwork, gold lines, and a floral bouquet on trigger plate. Single selective inertia-driven trigger. Top lever decorated en suite, with a relief "I" and abutting designs of Browning's deer head and another illegible glyph. Non-automatic safety with "S" inlaid ahead of slide, and "O" and "U" on either side for selecting barrels. Densely grained burl walnut stock with sidpanels and gadrooned tear drops. Unusual straight wrist is checkered with beaded borders and decorative band inserts. Butt with skipline checkering. Housed in a Browning branded Emmebi maroon lined 2 gun case with snap caps, 3 part cleaning rod, mop, brush, and keys. CONDITION: Barrels have the vast majority of their newer blue, with some scattered handling marks, mostly to left side, with some thinning to sharp edges and where forearm reciprocates. Action has been polished bright and engraved by Bee with crisp engraving, and case colors on interior, with scattered handling marks and impressions. A few very small areas of oxidation to right side and at tang, with one area of gold line missing on right side. Stock very good with handling marks and some infill to checkering which is sharp. Mechanically fine, ejectors are in time but bottom does not throw snapcap, bores are smooth. Case excellent. A lovely upgraded 20 gauge custom shop Browning with engraving by an acknowledged master.
