Manufactured circa 1943 to 1945, many were purchased by the Marine Corps as training rifles. Rifle features parkerized finish, military style protected blade front sight, Redfield target aperture rear sight, heavy oil finished walnut stock, and military style mounts. A small DOD stamp present on the grip. Accompanied by 3 total 10-round magazines. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle retains significant portions of original fading parkerized finish. Stock is excellent as lightly cleaned. Very fine, mirror bore. Fine mechanics.
