Named for the strip of land in Namibia that is known as an area with plentiful game for the African hunter, the Caprivi is Kimber's safari rifle offering. Magnum tapered barrel with white plastic bead front sight on sweated-on island with removable sight hod, sling stud on ring sweated to barrel, three leaf express rear sight, one fixed and two folding leaves, on sweated-on island, with Kimber's Yonkers information on left side of barrel, with caliber and model designations. Receiver drilled and tapped for use with scope. Nicely straight grained walnut stock with contrasting forearm tip, modified point pattern checkering about the forearm and wrist, dual reinforcement bolts, pancake cheekpiece, sling stud at toe line, and orange XL Decelerator recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent, NOS or equivalent, with some very light handling marks, probably shop wear; most offensive on bolt, probably from cycling action. Mechanically fine with strong rifling and mild frosting.
