Matching numbers. Standard issue was for a 12 gauge with a 32" barrel and a straight comb stock. The action is finely hand engraved and case color. The blue barrel features a full-length vent rib. The deluxe grain stock features a checkered round knob, with matching elongated forearm and a single trigger. There is a small silver plaque on forearm with initials. Waffle Hawkins recoil pad. 31 - 5/8" barrel and the present choke measures approximately Modified; it appears that this barrel was trimmed back at one time. CONDITION: Excellent as restored. The frame retains nearly all the reapplied case color and sharp engraving. The barrel retains 98% of the reapplied blue with few handling marks. The refined wood is superb with sharp checkering and some minor impressions. The bore is bright and tight as new lock up. The grade is stamped inside the frame. If the barrel was recut to a full choke, this would be a great trap gun and very scarce.
