This is a heavy barrel half-stock sporting rifle. The consignor states it is in .264 caliber, but this is not marked; if under the scope mount, it cannot be seen, as several of the ring screws are marred but will have to be removed to see the receiver bridge legends. Rifle is dated 1961 on left side of barrel and frame. Features a Monte Carlo style checkered pistol grip walnut stock with grip cap, sling eyes, and a black fore-end tip, both with white line spacers along with solid brown recoil pad, also with spacers. The barrel features a hooded globe front sight with rear sight removed. Sports double set triggers and a butter knife bolt. Floorplate has the Steyr logo. Rifle wears a Leupold 3.5-10x scope on Redfield mounts with clear optics. CONDITION. Metal is 98% with some handling marks with some scuffs on floor plate. Stock has some scattered impressions and small scratches. Bore is bright. Double triggers work.
