Never seen full stock Steyr Mannlicher with long 24" barrel, takedown, and chambered in the scarce 8x60 Magnum cartridge. The receiver bridge has the entire legend but does not show a model number. Unusual features of this pre-War rifle are the longer barrel, takedown, and unusual trigger guard with finger spur that certainly appears to be factory. The checkered two piece full length walnut stock includes a pistol grip with cap, a steel trap door butt plate, roll over cheek piece, swivels, working double set triggers, and a butter knife bolt handle. There are no Steyr or Stoeger stamps on the floor plate, but the Steyr legend is found on the left side of the frame. Sights include a ramp front and folding leaf rear with the addition of a Kahles German scope on claw mounts. The scope is retailer stamped "P. Hambrusch STYER" and has clear heavy line & post reticle. The left side of barrel is stamped "ANTINIT". CONDITION. Metal retains at least 95% blue with some barrel scuffs and minor handling marks. All legends are crisp. Stocks are excellent with usual minor impressions and small dark area on left side. Checkering is still crisp. The bore is bright. An extremly scarce and high condition Mannlicher rifle.
