Produced by Kimball Arms in the late 1950s, only around 250 of these potent blowback pistols were made. Few have survived as many were destroyed by the recoil of the .30 carbine's cartridge. Finished in blue, this standard example is fit with a heavy fixed blade front sight, adjustable target rear, and 2-piece checkered composition grips. This example is shown on page 1625 of Larry Ruth's "War Baby III". CONDITION: Very good. Nearly all of the factory applied blue is retained throughout with some high edge wear and an area of cleaned oxidation spots on right side of the slide. Grips are excellent. Lightly frosted bore displaying sharp rifling. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Larry Ruth Collection
