Manufactured in 1906. Half moon front and an U notch rear sight. Six shot fluted swing out cylinder. Two piece checkered hard rubber grips. Tree line barrel address and patent dates, "COLT'S PT. FIRE ARMS MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. / PAT'D AUG. 5, 1884 JUNE 5,1900". Model and caliber designation on the left side of the barrel, "COLT NEW POLICE 32". VP proof on the front trigger bow. Rampant colt logo with Colt's New Police around it on the left side of the frame. It comes in the original numbered Colt box. CONDITION: This gun retains most of the original factory applied blue finish. There are spots that a pleasing brown patina is coming through the blue. Fire blue parts retain most of the niter blue finish. Checkering on the grips is sharp and crisp. There are no chips or cracks on the grips. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. The box is in good shape and is original to the gun.
