Desireable and scarce federal Regulation M1872 enlisted artillery full dress helmet and worsted wool chest cords. Original in all respects with no evidence of restoration visible. Sweatband is present and solid. Helmet has no soft spots, bug damage, or fading. Chest cords show some wears and thinning but are all present. Most likely a Horstmann contract helmet. CONDITION: Very good.
