Manufactured from 1958 to 1962, this example was built in July of 1958 according to the barrel date code. Lightweight aluminum receiver and lined barrel anodized in the highly desirable vibrant Teal Wing Blue with chrome plated trim, the rarest of the 3 available factory colors. Blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight are gold washed. Correct deluxe diamond press checkered "Sun-Grain" blonde stocks with black anodized ribbed aluminum Remington butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent. Blue remains rich and vibrant with an attractive flowing mottled appearance on the receiver. Some scattered marks present throughout. Some minor losses to the gold wash on the sights. Stocks are very fine with only handling marks. Good bore and mechanics. A very nice example of an increasingly desirable rimfire rifle.
