A nicely executed fixed blade fighter that was crafted by one of the best knifemakers to exist, Bob Loveless. This knife features a 5 - 3/4' drop point blade marked "LOVELESS-MERRITT / makers / Riverside, Calif." in a football shape. Ricasso exhibits the initals "LJM". Blade is bright, but exhibits evidence of an older polishing, as pitting is noticed in several areas under the sheen. Hilt features a bright crossguard with black micarta grip scales firmly secured by stainless pins. Tang is nicely bordered with red spacers. Lanyard loop remains tightly inset. Hilt exhibits light handling wear throughout. CONDITION: Good.
