Fabrizio Silvestrelli is a full-time knifemaker who made his first knife at the age of 8. He began professional knife-making in 1988, became a full-time maker in 2004, and is one of the most well known and respected knife makers in Italy. The first of the 2 lock-back folding subhilt fighters was fully engraved by Creative Arts. The bulino engraving is complimented with 24K gold inlays. This magnificent lock-back folder is finished with presentation grade Mother of Pearl shell scales accented with gold pins. The second of the 2 lock-back folding sub hilt fighters was fully engraved by master engraver Mario Terzi. Mario has developed his own color enameling technique that produces absolutely stunning and unique results. The magnificent enamel work is perfectly complimented by Mother of Pearl shell scales. The knife is signed "Terzi" in 2 places on the frame. Both knives are displayed in a decorative wood case and each come with a black leather plush zipper case. Case liner adhesive has come loose on lid and there are a few chips on the exterior. CONDITION: Very good. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Frank Brownell.
