A fantastic trio of knives that were beautifully embellished by Barry Lee Hands. Lot consists of: (A) SR Johnson custom large "Big Bear" knife with engraving by Barry Lee Hands. The blade is unmarked but is highlighted by a gold rendition of Barry's trademark Renaissance Leaf. Spine is marked "S.R. JOHNSON / MANTI, UTAH". The knife features gilded pearl inlays, gold borders, multi-colored gold overlays, multi-color diamonds, and Lee's Black Satin background. (B) Ron Lake medium folder with engraving by Barry Lee Hands. The blade is marked "LAKE" on obverse ricasso and "53" on reverse ricasso. Beautifully etched and frosted leaves decorate both sides of the blade. Handle is decorated with gilded pearl inlays, gold borders, multi-colored gold overlays, multi-color diamonds, and Black Satin background. Frame exhibits tight gold ropework. Diamond encrusted gold toothpick is in place. (C) Ron Lake small folder with engraving by Barry Lee Hands. The blade is marked "LAKE" on obverse ricasso and "001" on reverse ricasso. Beautifully etched and frosted leaves decorate both sides of the blade. Handle is adorned with gilded pearl inlays, gold borders, multi-colored gold overlays, multi-color diamonds, and Black Satin background. Frame exhibits tight gold ropework. Diamond encrusted gold lanyard loop is in place. All 3 knives are housed in a custom walnut display case with red lining. CONDITION: Excellent. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Frank Brownell.
