A total of 18,281 were produced over its nine-year production run between 1927 - 1935. It was built as a medium price target rifle, bolt action, magazine fed (included). It features a plain pistol grip walnut half stock, single barrel band, a globe front sight, folding single leaf rear sight along with a Lyman peep rear sight. Butt plate is worm grooved checkered steel. Finish is blue. CONDITION. Very good. All metal is a smooth patina. Strong Winchester legends on right side of barrel which is tapped for a tube scope. Wood is excellent with a few dings and one filled hole at top of comb along with an added coat of finish. Action is fine. Bore is sharp.
