Rifled barrel with flat rib on top and a swamped muzzle. Top of rib signed in silver-inlaid black letters "CHR KUCHENREUTER A REGENSBURG". Brass makers cartouche in square on top, at breech. Silver half-moon front sight and notched rear sight with two folding leaves. Platinum lined touchhole and pan. Unmarked convex lockplate with unbridled pan. Walnut full stock with horn nosecap and shaped checkered section around wrist. Silver plated brass furniture. Complete with its original horn-tipped wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel retains a gray patina. Lock is in its original flintlock configuration and functions properly. Stock shows scattered marks from use, wear to checkering and some minor chipping around pommel cap. Brass furniture retains generous amounts of silver plate.
