Of European manufacture with a single tip up pinfire barrel. Interestingly the folding trigger terminates in a cork screw which could be screwed into a doorframe and be used as an alarm gun. The pistol is also equipped with a 3 - 3/8" folding knife blade marked "MORTI" at the base. Body is constructed of brass with engraved German silver trim and stag scales. This example appears to be the one pictured on page 131 of Winant's "Firearms Curiosa", ex Eddie Reider collection. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel displays a gunmetal gray patina. Mounts remain bright. Scales are likewise without major blemish. Very fine, mirror bore. Blade is stuck, otherwise mechanically fine. A very nice and rare published curiosa.
