This was Smith & Wesson's first swing out cylinder gun. Pinned half moon front sight with a U notch rear sight. The Smith & Wesson logo is on the right side. The patent dates and address are on the cylinder between the flutes. The cylinder stop is in the top strap. Case color trigger and hammer. Two piece mother of pearl grips. There is a monogram on the backstrap, "H.J.H. TOC.L.B. AUG.5TH 1897". CONDITION: This gun retains virtually all of the original factory applied nickel finish. Vibrant case colors on the trigger and hammer. Grips are mint with no chips or cracks. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. There is a small spot of rust at the bottom of the grip.
