3rd model rifle manufactured in 1884. Blued round barrel with Rocky Mountain front sight and semi-buckhorn rear. Plain 2-piece walnut stock with crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle displays an overall brown freckled patina with traces of factory blue. Strong nitre blue on loading gate. Elevator displays a mellow mottled golden patina. Stocks have scattered impressions and a small split at the butt. Very good strong and bright bore with some light abrasion spots. Fine mechanics.
