Manufactured in 1948. This early post war revolver features the popular red and black composition grips with Colt pony. Other features include blue finish, target adjustable front sight, adjustable rear sight, checkered hammer spur and serrated trigger. OFFICERS MODEL TARGET legend is on left side of the barrel. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains fully 95% blue with touch of muzzle wear, a small handling scratch on right side of frame and scattered high edge wear only. Flat top has the new for 1946 non glare matte finish. Grips are excellent. The action is smooth as silk and the bore is strong.
