Heavy barrel bench or varmint rifle. Rear portion of barrel has two tap holes but no sights or slot cuts. Breech is stamped .222 REM MA. Right side of barrel stamped R.E.M.. Left side of receiver stamped. Remington Model 40-X. Finish is blue. Heavy flat forearm plain pistol grip walnut stock with white line black rubber white line pad. Base of forearm has adjustable swivel base. Stainless trigger guard. Sports a Leupold 6X18 scope with clear standard cross hair reticle. CONDITION: Excellent showing basically light handling. Bore is well defined. Crisp action .
