Manufactured in 1964. Nick was a master engraver for Winchester from 1950-1981 and continued engraving until his death in 2020. This is a Pigeon grade with Pigeon image engraved on base of tube. There is scroll engraving on both sides of barrel breech as well as take down ring. The left side of the receiver is engraved with two pointers and flushing pheasants in woodland scene. Nick has signed this piece NK just above the safety button on left side. The right side is engraved with a marsh scene featuring four mallards. The trigger guard also shows some light scroll engraving. The shotgun features a full vent rib, jeweled bolt, fleur-dis- lis style checkering on the stock with grip cap, Monte Carlo comb and a Winchester red waffle pad with a matching forearm. The metal is finished in high polish blue with a non glare receiver top finish. CONDITION: Gun shows near new as when engraved and finished with just some minor handling. The bore is bright. Simply stunning.
