The Model 1 knife is most known for its use by American soldiers in all theaters of operations during World War II. This example features a tooled 8" steel blade with sharpened top edge. Right cheek is marked "RANDALL MADE / ORLANDO, FL" between Randall's signature scimitars, along with the separate "S". Blade with nice visible cross graining and scattered light blemishes. Brass slightly downturned crossguard and pommel separated from the black micarta handle by red, white, and black spacers. Handle with light patina. Complete with brown leather scabbard stamped "8 / RANDALL MADE / KNIVES / ORLANDO, FLA." in Randall's football logo. Plain stainless stamp with sharpening stone marked "FINE INDIA-MADE IN U.S.A.". Scabbard with light blemishes and tight stitching. CONDITION: Very good.
