Manufactured 1936. Features the long tang and scarce bolt peep sight, blue finish, half magazine, ramp front sight, filled rear sight slot, and checkered pistol grip walnut stock with Winchester cap, solid red Winchester recoil pad, sling eyes, and matching forearm. CONDITION: Receiver had some mounting holes on left side that were filled, then all of the metal was refinished, retaining nearly all of that finish sans some minor handling. The wood was refinished and recheckered but they did not match the color of the two pieces very well. Stock has a few dings as well. Bore is bright. Once you match the color, this is one handsome rifle. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
