Manufactured 1937. Early long tang 20" barrel short rifle / carbine. Features deluxe checkered pistol grip walnut stock with Winchester cap, checkered steel butt plate, sling eyes and matching forearm. Blue finish with hooded ramp front sight, scarce bolt peep sight and filled rear sight slot. CONDITION: Fine. The frame retains approximately 70% bright blue with balance turning soft grey, mostly from carry. Barrel retains about 85% blue, thinning at breech, light muzzle wear and handling marks. Wood is excellent with scattered impressions. Bore is bright. Used but well cared for and untouched. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
