Manufactured in October 1944. Import marked LMR barrel dated "1 53" with protected blade front sight and post-war aperture rear. Winchester bolt. Other internals appear to be Springfield production, including relief cut oprod. Standard walnut stocks. CONDITION: Good. Rifle retains significant portions of arsenal reapplied matte finishes with wear and patina. Stocks are dry with expected dings and abrasions expected on military rifles. Good bore with defined rifling. ME of 3. TE reads just under 4. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
