Manufactured in 1907. Standard carbine features full tube magazine, post front sight, 3-leaf express rear sight, blue finish, saddle ring and stud, walnut stock with carbine butt plate and matching long wood forearm. CONDITION: Very good. Receiver is grey patina with some bright blue on gate. Barrel and tube show some flashes of blue in protected areas perfectly blending with soft blue grey patina. The Winchester two line top barrel legend is sharp. Has the PW proof on both barrel and frame. (between 1905 and 1907, some Winchester were shipped with a single PW). Stock is flush to metal, most finish gone, small hairline on left wrist, some dings on right side wrist with scattered small abrasions. Forearm also shows a few hits. Bore is well defined but dull with fine action. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
