Early 1937 production on a long tang receiver. Blued Winchester Proof Steel round barrel with ramped gold bead blade front sight and sporting rear. Bolt drilled for a peep although not present. Standard half-length magazine. Plain walnut forend and pistol grip stock with uncapped grip and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its factory-applied blued finish with muzzle and carry wear, as well as losses to the nose cap. Forend retains portions of original finish with light handling marks. Stock retains the majority of its original finish with losses along the comb line and butt plate, scattered marks, and spots of loss throughout. Fine bright bore with strong, well-defined rifling.
