Manufactured in 1939, a 2nd year production. Both are magazine fed target rifles, blue finish, plain pistol grip walnut stock, have slings, adjustable forearm rail, checkered steel butt plate, globe front sights, barrel mounted set of scope blocks. Number 2500 has a vintage Lyman Jr. Targetspot scope while the other has the base only for a receiver peep sight. Both have the barrel left side Winchester legends. Both have one Winchester stamped magazine. CONDITION: Excellent. Both have floor plates turning patina, otherwise, they retain better than 90% blue. Stocks have scattered impressions and small dings. Both have sharp bores and actions. Number 2500 has a patina barrel band. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
