Manufactured 1936. First full year production long tang deluxe features the scarce bolt peep sight, hooded ramp front sight, Marbles buckhorn rear sight, blue finish, half magazine, and swivels. Checkered pistol grip walnut stock with Winchester cap and added Winchester red rubber recoil pad with matching forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains 95% bright blue on receiver with scattered handling marks and high edge wear. Barrel and tube are about the same with some scattered age freckling and sharp barrel legends. Stock is excellent, fairly crisp checkering, scattered finish loss, and impressions. Forearm checkering is thinning and has some abrasions. Bore is defined but frosted. This rifle saw woods time but still remains in nice used condition. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
