Manufactured in 1922. Classic configuration with blued round barrel in .44 WCF, full length magazine retained by a pair of carbine bands, blade front sight, ladder rear, folding tang sight, saddle ring, plain walnut stocks, and steel carbine butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Barrel retains the vast majority of its facotry blue, the magazine tube starting to drift to plum. Receiver has a brown gray patina with traces of factory blue in protected areas and a saddle ring ghost. Stocks are solid with attic burnt finish and scattered impressions. Very fine, bright and crisp bore. Fine mechanics. A quintessential Western saddle ring carbine. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
