MANUFACTURED IN 1908. Standard take down rifle with full octagon barrel, full tube magazine, Marbles semi buckhorn rear sight, D.W. King front sight, Lyman tang rear sight, blue finish, walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm in the desirable .25 caliber. CONDITION: Excellent. The frame is a homogenous blue blending patina. The bolt and loading gate retain the same finish. The barrel and tube are much the same revealing a solid 85-90% blue that is also blending patina. The two line Winchester barrel address is crisp. The stocks are just a hair shy of flush and had their finish removed revealing some stunning grain with minor impressions but there is a piece of what appears to be raw pearl shell embedded on right side of stock. Action works fine. Bore is well defined and continuous but frosted. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
