Manufactured in 1895. Early take down rifle that does not have the 10 o'clock screw. Features full octagon barrel, full tube magazine, German silver tip front sight, semi buckhorn rear sight, tang sight, blue finish, walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Very good. The rear of receiver has some dark blue brown with balance a grey patina. The bolt and loading gate retain strong blue. The barrel and tube are a soft brown patina with some age freckling. Stocks are proud to metal with usual small dings and impressions. The early barrel two line Winchester legend is sharp. A rear swivel was added. Action is smooth but a bit of wiggle in take down. Bore is bright. A nice honest example of an early take down 94. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
