3rd model rifle manufactured in 1890. Finished in blue with a round barrel, sporting sights, and 2-piece plain walnut stocks with a crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Very good overall. Barrel and magazine tube have faded to plum patina with some cleaned oxidation spotting. Receiver retains significant portions of fading factory polished blue with thinning and high edge wear. Stocks fit proudly with some dings and abrasions, as well as some old added finish, rating good overall. Bore displays well defined rifling with some cleaned black powder abrasion. Fine mechanics.
