Manufactured in 1938. Rifle features a highly desirable special order octagon barrel in scarce .22 WRF chambering. Aftermarket large gold bead blade front sight and folding tang mounted aperture sight, the rear sight dovetail filled in with a blank. Standard full blued finish, takedown receiver, flat bottom ribbed walnut slide, and smooth walnut pistol grip stock with checkered steel butt plate. CONDITION: Very good overall. Barrel and receiver retain the vast majority of their factory blue with some high edge wear, a few freckles, and other marks. Magazine tube and hanger starting to fade with some wear. Forend has light impressions. Stock shows some spots of finish loss, dings, and abrasions remaining good overall. Very fine, crisp and bright bore. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
