Purchased from George Neumann by the consignor and still retaining his handwritten tag. The slightly curved American manufactured blade is unfullered. The brass D-guard features a unique 3-toed quillon. Olive-shaped pommel with turnings. Plain wood grip. Complete with its black leather scabbard with brass drag mount. CONDITION: Blade retains a light grey patina and is somewhat bright. Hilt retains a pleasing dark mustard patina and is tight to blade. Scabbard shows crazing and minor losses to surface, throat mount is absent and minor losses to leather at top on back side. A very nice petite American sword.
