Manufactured in 1899. Features a full round barrel, full tube magazine, sporting front sight, replaced semi buckhorn rear sight, blue finish, walnut stock with trap door rifle butt plate and matching forearm. There is a top hole in nose cap for sling eye. CONDITION: Very good. There are some flashes of blue here and there but basically a soft homogenous light patina with scattered age spotting. Two line Winchester barrel legend is strong. Strong .44 Cal engraved on brass carrier. Stock is flush at upper tang but a bit shy on lower, added finish with a few impressions. Forearm is a bit shy as well with added finish and scattered dings. The action is fine. The bore is well defined but does have some abrasion. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection
