Colt produced 5000 of these tribute revolvers in 1984. It is based on a standard New Frontier six shot single action with blue and case color finish, flat top frame, target rear sight and black eagle grips. This gun also comes with an extra .22 magnum cylinder. In silver on left side of barrel is "JOHN WAYNE THE DUKE" in a silver ribbon. Top and left side of barrel are standard Colt legends. The ejector head, cylinder pin, hammer, trigger and release pin are all nickel plated. Comes in special wood case with John Wayne plaque. CONDITION. Shows as new with light handling.
