Number 275 of 300. Features include a 24" blued steel octagon barrel with blade front sight and a adjustable sporting rear. Fully engraved gold plated steel receiver, the left side of the receiver features a portrait of Buffalo Bill and Chief Sitting Bull above a banner that reads “SITTING BULL & CODY” and a portrait of John Nelson below a banner that reads “JOHN Y. NELSON”. The left sideplate reads “BUFFALO / BILLS / 1883”, “WILD / WEST / 1917” with a portrait of Buffalo Bill in the center above a banner that reads “COL. W.F. CODY”. Both sides of the forend are marked with scroll engraving and “BUFFALO BILL’S WILD WEST / An American Legend”. Both sides of the grip are marked with scroll engraving and “BUFFALO BILL’S WILD WEST” and with a buffalo. The right side of the receiver is marked with a portrait of Annie Oakley above a banner that reads “ANNIE OAKLEY” and with a picture of Buffalo Bill and two other members of his show. The right side plate is marked with a scene of Buffalo Bill and other members of his show with a stagecoach above a banner that reads “DEADWOOD COACH”. High gloss finished hardwood buttstock with matching forend, gold plated crescent buttplate, and forend cap. CONDITION: Very Good There are some scattered light handling marks. The hammer has some light wear on it. The screw heads are sharp and the markings are crisp. Shiny bore with strong rifling. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
