Manufactured in 1936. Early long tang with scarce bolt peep sight, blue finish, round barrel with ramp front sight and filled rear slot, half magazine, plain pistol grip walnut stock with checkered steel butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Excellent. The frame retains at least 95% bright blue with most wear on base from carry and a few freckles. Barrel and tube also retains at least 95% blue with some scattered handling marks. Barrel legends are strong. Stock is excellent with a few hunting scars and some light finish loss. Lever shows some finish flaking. Forearm has a few impressions. Bore is strong but lightly frosted. Action is slick. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
