Designed and marketed as a semi-automatic pistol version of the famous MP5 sub-machine gun. 4 - 1/2" barrel with fluted chamber, delayed roller blow back system. Hooded post and rotary rear sight with 4 positions. Manufactured in 1989 as per IK date code. Top rib with "HK SP 89" legend, serial number, German nitro proof, date code, and Ulm proof. Bolt carrier with "IJ" proof, German nitro proof on the left side of magazine well with caliber designation on the right side with "Made in W-Germany / HK Inc. / Sterling VA" import mark. 2 position trigger pack. Fitted with a traditional black plastic fore grip with hand stop. CONDITION: Excellent, as new. Retains virtually all of the original finishes. Furniture is likewise excellent. Very fine and bright bore. Fine mechanics.
